Nellie Gbadebo

Nellie Gbadebo is a women’s health advocate, beauty and wellness creator, and founder of Touchy-Feely, a cancer non-profit working to close gaps in cancer awareness, support and access for underserved communities.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer at 26 and medically induced into menopause as part of her treatment, Nellie found herself navigating a stage of womanhood she had never expected to encounter in her twenties. That experience now informs much of her work around hormones, medically induced menopause, body changes, confidence and the ways women are supported through major health transitions.

Through her platform, Nellie brings a younger and culturally diverse perspective to menopause conversations, challenging the idea that menopause belongs to one age group or one type of woman. Her work also explores the wider inequalities that shape women’s health - from whose symptoms are recognised and whose experiences are represented, to whether health information feels culturally relevant and accessible.
