MBChB, MRCOG, DipMedEd, PGCertGynUSS, FHEA, FLSW

Nadia is a Consultant Gynaecologist, based at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, with 30 years of medical experience. Determined to follow in her father’s footsteps, Nadia has been a passionate advocate of women’s health from the age of 5!

Helping women with the most difficult and taboo conditions to talk about, Nadia dedicated her career learning about bladder and bowel health, childbirth trauma, vaginal laxity and menopause. She has multiple publications and presentations both nationally and internationally and has worked with Welsh Government on several projects including Vaginal Mesh, Faecal incontinence and most recently the Wales Menopause Task and finish group. Nadia has worked with multiple pharma companies as a speaker and educator and more recently collaborating with THD UK to improve the lives of women with childbirth trauma through raising awareness and education of Obstetric Anal Sphincter Injuries.

Between 2016 to 2019, Nadia's life took a U-turn, with early debilitating menopause symptoms and arthritis, "wading through treacle" is how she describes her life then.  On making the call to hand in her resignation just at the start of Covid19, she was told to shield, this was her blessing in disguise.

During lockdown she rekindled her interest in Menopause and Midlife Health and became a British Menopause Society accredited specialist and trainer. Also, during this time, not responding to traditional treatments, she discovered a Lifestyle Medicine approach which revolutionised not only her own health but also her practice. Nadia is a member of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine and the South Wales Lifestyle Medicine group.

In 2020, Nadia introduced the Menopause service at Infiniti Healthcare, an award-winning private women’s health clinic in Cardiff Gate Business park. integrating a holistic approach to health in her day-to-day practice and helping women aspire to living healthy and fulfilling lives.

In 2023, Nadia was appointed as the Menopause Service Lead for Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health board (CTMUHB). This appointment offered Nadia the privilege of leading a large menopause team, covering three main hospital sites which serves a population of 450,000 people living in three County Boroughs: Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon. Over the last ten months, Nadia and her team have introduced and implemented significant initiatives which have changed the landscape of Menopause care in CTMUHB, reaching a larger population and bringing the waiting lists down. They are excited to carry on with their mission of improving the service and better serving the women of CTMUHB.

In her personal live, Nadia is married to Kiron, a Consultant UroGynaecologist.

In the middle of their busy NHS lives and running Infiniti Healthcare, they have four children and four pets and love nothing more than being with their pets and children, driving an SUV and touring the USA.
