Dr Clayton is Consultant Dermatologist at Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals NHS Foundation trust. She has developed as sub speciality interest in hair loss, completing a Hair Fellowship, supported by a study award from The British Association of Dermatologists during her training. 

Dr Clayton runs a specialist NHS paediatric hair service and sees both adults and children in her private practice. In addition to her clinical work, she continues to support research with Dr Ros Hannen’s research group at The Blizard Institute Queen Mary University London and enjoys teaching and education, speaking at both the British Association of Hair Restoration and 20th European Hair Research Society meetings in June 2023.
