Dr Komal Chadha is the founder of Bond Medical and an experienced GP specialising in women’s health, supporting patients with hormonal and reproductive health concerns at every stage of life.

She has over 15 years’ clinical experience in women’s health, and currently runs an NHS women’s health clinic. She is also a GP specialising in Women’s Health at the Guys & St Thomas’ Womens’ and Girls Health Hub, where she regularly supports patients with:

• Coil and implant fittings and removals, as well as all other contraceptive options
• Menstrual disorders, including investigation for PMOS and endometriosis
• Hormonal symptoms and cycle-related concerns
• Fertility health assessments, including hormone testing and scans where appropriate
• Menopause and hormone replacement therapy
• Complicated or difficult smears
• Assessment and treatment of pelvic organ prolapse

Dr Komal is a recognised menopause specialist, having gained her qualification from the British Menopause Society, and supports patients throughout the menopause journey, including tailored advice and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) where appropriate. She uses an evidence based safe approach to tailor her regimes. 

She has also completed her diploma with the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive health and is a recognised coil and implant fitter. She has over 10 years experience in fitting long acting reversible contraception (LARC). 

She has worked as an NHS GP for over 10 years, and has been a health policy advisor to both NHS England and the South East London Integrated Care Board. She has taught medical students at Imperial Medical School and serves on their interview panel. She regularly hosts medical students and teaches healthcare professionals at her NHS surgery. She is also an elected member of her Local Medical Committee (LMC) where she represents other GPs. 

Dr Chadha is a British trained GP, who graduated from Nottingham Medical School in 2011 and then completed her general practitioner training in South London in 2016. She also has a Masters in Health Policy and Economics from the London School of Economics and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has published a number of peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals such as the British Medical Journal, and presented her work at National Conferences such as the Royal College of General Practitioners Annual Conference. Her approach is therefore evidence based and she keeps up to date with the latest research findings.
